What is ahead for 2012...

Well, 2012 just started but I have already been busy planning ahead for 2012 and beyond...

Here's what I am looking forward to...

1. Requalifying for American Airlines Executive Platinum Status by the end of May
2. Requalifying for United Airlines Premier 1K Status by the end of September
3. Earning more free stays at Marriott via their MegaBonus promos
4. Visiting Scotland during the summer and also seeing Ireland or Finland
5. Long Weekend in Vancouver with friends in the Spring
6. US Airways Grand Slam 2012!
7. Attend Star MegaDO 4
8. Star Alliance Trip for Chinese New Year...
• First Class on Lufthansa SFO-FRA (hopefully on the NEW FIRSTaa.com configured 747)
• Exploring Frankfurt for a few hours during my 10 hour layover 
• Visiting the Lufthansa First Class Lounge and getting another rubber ducky for my collection
• First Class Suite on Thai Airways and the SPA in the lounge
• Visiting Hong Kong and Macau during my short layover at HKIA
• First Class on All Nippon Airways from Tokyo to Washington DC (and the Lounge at NRT)
• Staying 3 nights at the Conrad Tokyo (Hopefully, not booked yet)

Here are some wishes for the New Year:

1. Close to 100% Domestic upgrade for American Airlines and at least 80% on United
2. American Airlines survive their Chapter 11 Bankruptcy (I got too many miles with them)
3. Good Credit Card offers from Chase and American Express
4. Flying on the Airbus 380 and Boeing 787 (will try my best!)
5. Fly on some new-to-me airlines (ANA, Finnair, Swiss, Turkish, Japan Airlines, Malaysian Airlines, Qantas, and Etihad)
6. Try to visit one of the southern hemisphere continents (South America, Africa, or Australia)
