What is inside the Turkish Airlines Elite packet

I was Status Matched to Turkish Airlines Elite level from my American Airlines Executive Platinum card following the departure of British Midland International (BMI) from the Star Alliance due to the British Airways buyout.  It took about an month to get my card after the match but the status is good for 2 years!

I have Star Alliance Gold status already from my United 1K status but it DOES NOT grant me lounge access when flying United or US Airways domestically (must buy membership).  But having Star Gold on a foreign airline such as Turkish Airlines (TK) DOES allow me to visit the lounges when traveling within the US!  The best part is that I have to only credit 25,000 miles to TK every 2 years to maintain this status.  Which is a bargain!  The only bad thing about this is that the miles collected on TK is only good for 3 calendar years (before they expire) and I would lose out on earning double redeemable miles on United (25,000 miles every 2 years).
