Darn.. I don't (yet) have enough miles to go into space

Via the Daily Mail...

Virgin Australia is offering a seat on a Virgin Galactic sub-orbital flight for 25 million points.  That is definitely a LOT of miles!

Other unique opportunities include:
  • AviancaTaca’s LifeMiles program can get a hot lather shave at a premier spa in New York City for 8,250 miles
  • 14,700 miles equates to a drinking tour around the beer halls of Brussels for members of American Airlines’ AAdvantage program
  • Members of Air France KLM’s Flying Blue program, for example, can get a heritage flight on a DC3 for a $167 fee but if they use their miles it will cost 50,000 miles (equivalent to $500)
  • 213,750 points will buy members of Southwest’s Rapid Rewards program a seat on an SIAI Marchetti fighter plane and 286,000 miles gets a five-night private train tour of Morocco with Air Canada’s Aeroplan program
  • A one-way private jet charter from Rimini, Italy, to Nice, France costs 2.345 million miles through Lufthansa Miles & More.
