Lufthansa First Class Lounge at FRA

I have not been to this exact location before but essentially, they all look the same between the two Lufthansa First Class Lounges and the First Class Terminal.  My first order of business was to obtain a pair of the infamous rubber ducks (success!).

My second was to eat dinner at the awesome buffet.  The thing that impresses me is that they have roving agents to bring me anything I want… drinks and food.  I just went to the buffet and grabbed a few things to eat and then asked for water which was delivered to me seat later.  I did not eat in the dining room as I wanted to watch TV while I ate dinner.

This lounge has a great view of the B pier on the higher number series.  An Air China 777 aircraft from Shanghai pulled in while I was eating dinner (and subsequently left after boarding new passengers).  The lounge was pretty empty and not a whole lot of people at this time probably due to the fact that not a lot of flights depart at this time.  Gradually, more passengers arrived when time progressed as the lounge has the gate information displayed for those passengers present in the lounge only.

At about 8:45PM, I made my way to gate 42 to board my Thai Airways flight to Bangkok.  Little did I know that boarding would not start for another 40 minutes, right before 9:25PM (the updated departure time).  I should have waited out my time in the Lufthansa First Class Lounge and let the escort get me when it was time to go.  Another option would have been to be at the Lufthansa Senator Lounge across from the boarding area.  My escort found me eventually and had me along with the other First Class passengers queue up for departure.  The five of us got on the plane (HS-TKT) via the premium line for the jet bridge and were the first ones on-board the flight to Bangkok.
